Pakistan Cricketers Salary 2021

Like Others, Pakistan Cricket Board also follows the same type of payment listing process. Pakistan Cricket Board finalizes salary of Pakistan cricketers based on his contract and player category. Players are paid on the number of matches they have played in the season.

In a release, the 2020-21 season, which begins on 30 September, the PCB announced a new pay structure that will see even the lowest-paid domestic players earn at least “seven percent more” than what they received in the 2019-20 season.

Pakistan Cricketers Salary

With each of the 10 A+ category players to receive PKR 150,000 as a monthly retainer for 12 months and a match fee of PKR 40,000 for National T20 Cup and Pakistan Cup each, and PKR 60,000 for Quaid-e-Azam Trophy, players maintaining and displaying high levels of professionalism throughout the season will earn PKR 3.2 million. The Board also said that monthly retainer of D category domestic players has been fixed at Rs 40,000 but they will get the same match fee as the highest category player

The 2020-21 enhanced monthly retainer structure is:

Category A+ = 10 players, Rs 150,000 per month (Rs 66, 826 in Indian rupee)

Category A = 38 players, Rs 85,000 per month (Rs 37, 898)

Category B = 48 players, Rs 75,000 per month (Rs 33, 439)

Category C = 72 players, Rs 65,000 per month (Rs 28, 980)

Category D = 24 players, Rs 40,000 per month. (Rs 17,834)

The 2019-20 season retainer structure is:

Category A: 1.1 Million PKR (USD 6,798) monthly and an annual income of 13.2 Million PKR (USD 81,576)

Category B:  750,000 PKR (USD 4,635) monthly and  9 Million PKR (USD 55,627) annually.

Category C:  750,000 PKR (USD 4,635) monthly and 6.6 Million PKR (USD 40,793) annually.

Pakistan cricketers not only get paid monthly salaries but also earn per match fees. A report claimed that players who scored a century or take five wickets in one match earn 25% more cricket fees.
