Pakistan Cricketers Salary Details
|Like Others, Pakistan Cricket Board also follows the same type of payment listing process. Pakistan Cricket Board finalizes the salary of Pakistan cricketers based on their contract and player category. Players are paid for the number of matches they have played in the season.
In Lahore, on 2 July the PCB announced an enhanced and performance-based central contract list. This contract includes some raises in every category.
Salary Hike for 2021-22 contracts:
- Category A retainer gets a 25 percent increase but no increase in Test, ODI and T20I Match fee
- Category B retainer gets a 25 percent increase along with 15% in the test fee, 20% in ODI match fee and 25% in T20I match fee.
- Category C retainer gets a 25% increase along with a 34% increase in Test match fees, 50% in ODI match fees and 67% in T20I matches
- Emerging Category retainer gets a 15 percent increase along with a 34% increase in Test match fees, 50% in ODI match fees and 67% in T20I match fees.

Category A: Hasan Ali, Mohammad Rizwan, Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi
Category B: Azhar Ali, Faheem Ashraf, Shadab Khan, Fakhar Zaman, Fawad Alam and Yasir Shah
Category C: Mohammad Nawaz, Abid Ali, Mohammad Hasnain, Imam-ul-Haq, Haris Rauf, Nauman Ali and Sarfaraz Ahmed
Emerging Category: Usman Qadir, Imran Butt, Shahnawaz Dahani
The 2021-22 season retainer structure is (Monthly):
Category A: 1 Million PKR (6,273 USD) + 25% =1.25 million PKR (7,841 USD)
Category B: 750,000 PKR (4,705 USD) + 25% = 937,500 PKR (5,882 USD)
Category C: 450,000 PKR (2,823 USD) + 25% = 562,500 PKR (3,529 USD)
Emerging Category: 15 percent increase

Pakistan cricketers not only get paid monthly salaries but also earn per match fees. A report claimed that players who scored a century or take five wickets in one match earn 25% more cricket fees.

Babar Azam is the highest-paid Pakistan cricket player because of the top category contract from PCB and lots of endorsement deals.
