Isle of Man TT Prize MoneyIsle of Man TT is one of the most dangerous racing events in the world. Racers compete on closed public two-lane country roads at speeds exceeding 200mph that’s the fact which makes this the most dangerous racing event. The event consists of one week of practice sessions followed by one week of racing.

Isle of Man TT 2022 Prize Money

Every year a lot of prize money distributed among the racer from 1st to 20th position holder. A list of prize money with the total amount is given on the list.

Isle of Man TT has 8 classes of races to be held, the details are given below:

Superbike TT Race   

The specification for entries into the Superbike TT race are :

  • Over 750 cc up to 1000 cc 4 cylinders 4-stroke
  • Over 750 cc up to 1000 cc 3 cylinders 4-stroke
  • Over 850 cc up to 1200 cc 2 cylinders 4-stroke
  • The minimum weight is 165 kg

Superbike TT category 1st position holder gets a total of £18,000. From 1st to 6th position racers get paid every lap but on the 6th lap, 1 to 20th position racers get paid. the total amount of Superbike TT Race is £57,400.

The 1st position holder of the Superstock TT race gets £8,000. For each lap, the riders paid consistently. A total amount of £22,700 prize fund given throughout the Superstock TT Race.

  • Minimum Weight 161 kg

The first finisher gets paid a total of 9,000 pounds for all four laps. A total amount of £29,050 is given through the Supersport TT Race 1. The race contains 4 laps with each lap prize money.

Lightweight TT Race

The specifications for entries into the Lightweight TT race are:

  • Machines must comply with general technical rules as per ACU Standing Regulations and 2019 Isle of Man TT race regulations.
  • Any four-stroke twin-cylinder motorcycle originally sold for road use with a water-cooled engine of up to 650 cc engine capacity.
  • Eligible machines must be from models homologated for UK road use 2009 or later.
  • Minimum weight 161 kilograms.

The Lightweight TT Race has 4 laps, the 1st position holder gets a total of £5,000 and the total prize mone of this race is £17,400.

  • Machines must comply with general technical rules as per ACU Standing Regulations and 2015 Isle of Man TT regulations.
  • Engine Types
  • 501 – 600 cc, 4 stroke, 4 cylinder, Production-based motorcycle engines.

The Senior TT Race has 6 long laps. On each lap, the top position holders gets the prize money. The 1st position holder gets a total of £18,000 and the total prize money amount of this race is £587,400.
