Let’s discuss about the possible top goal scorers for the 2022 WC campaign. Firstly, the two names which often come to our mind when we discuss the word “Goal”, are Leo Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. However, both of the duo are yet to win this award. Messi has won the Golden Ball in 2014 WC when Argentina made it to the final but unfortunately was beaten by the Germans. Messi recently won the Copa America Golden Boot along with the Golden Balls with 5 goals and 4 assists. Meanwhile, his counterpart won the UEFA Euro top scorer award with 5 strikes although 3 of them came from penalties but he scored crucial ones against Germany and France. By the way, nowadays Ronaldo plays much more up front and thus he has good chance to win it even at this age while Messi started playing a bit deeper but with that much ability, one must put him at the front row for sure. Harry Kane was the winner of the 2018 FIFA WC Golden Boot. The English talisman cum captain registered as many as 6 in Russia and grabbed this prestigious prize. Although the Polish man is a top, top performer even at his national side but his team mates often couldn’t support him much and Poland’s earlier exits, decrease his chance of winning it. The similar fact is also applicable for Norwegian sensation Erling Haaland.
