NHL All-Star Game 2022 Prize Money
The National Hockey League All-Star Game is traditionally held during the regular season of the National Hockey League (NHL). It is an exhibition ice hockey game where many of the League’s star players compete against each other. The 2022 National Hockey League All-Star Game was originally scheduled to be held on January 30, 2021 but on October 22, 2020, the league announced that the game would be postponed to no earlier than 2022 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
As in the previous four All-Star Games, the captaincy of each division was determined by a fan vote. There would be four All-Star teams based on the league’s four divisions, competing in a single-elimination tournament. the four captains will be announced by the NHL. The format of all three games in the tournament will be three-on-three, with 10-minute halves each. After 20 minutes if the result still ties then it will directly go to a three-round shootout plus extra rounds as needed to determine the winner.

The National Hockey League All-Star Game 2022 is scheduled to be held at T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada, the home of the Vegas Golden Knights on on February 5. Depending on this situation the prize money amount could increase or decrease. The officials haven’t published any information about the prize money yet.

The Champion of the NHL All-Star Game will play a 3-on-3 format game for the $1 million prize money pot and the $1 million cash prize to be split amongst the winning squad. The shooting accuracy event players will receive a $25,000 cash prize. winning team players will bag $100,000. The most valuable player (MVP) will receive $250,000 with a bonus of $50,000. The teams also get paid based on a salary cap. The payroll for all four teams would, thankfully, get under the salary cap of $79.5 million.
There is no official update provided on how much the winning players earn from gateway receipts tickets sale revenue along with no money related information on tv rights broadcast revenue.
