The MLS average salary of head coaches was not the same figure in previous years. In 2007 the figure was up to $250,000. Some big names were paid in high amounts as well as Bruce Arena and Ruud Gullit. And the biggest names are paid $600,000 to $1.2 million.  But most of the coaches earn very less. After a long time, the situation remains unchanged. Maximum coaches are paid in low amounts.

There are some names who are paid in high figures. The amount which is given to the managers is less than Europe and the other side. Though MLS is one of the most popular games in the USA , the salary of coaches is very poor.
