Major League Baseball 2022 Prize Money
The Major League Baseball is an American professional baseball organization and also the oldest of the major professional sports leagues in the United States and Canada. MLB is formed with 30 teams, 29 in the United States and 1 in Canada. Teams play 162 games each season and five teams in each league advance to a four-round postseason tournament that culminates in the World Series, a best-of-seven championship series between the two league champions.
Major League Baseball announced the 2022 regular-season will begin on March 31 and end on October 2. The 92nd All-Star Game is planned for July 19 which will be hosted by the Los Angeles Dodgers at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles.
The official prize money hasn’t been published yet. This list is an estimation depending on the previous tournament.

As the given list of facts The world series champion will receive $35 million prize money, $440,910 from players pool and (34%) purse share. World Series Runner-up will bag $24 million prize money, $259,722 players pool and (24%) purse share. Along with the League Champions will receive $10.24 million prize money, $135,759 players pool and 12% purse share with the league runners up receiving also $10.24 million prize money, $135,759 players pool and 12% purse share. League Champions and runner-ups prize money are distributed equally. Division Series Runner-ups will get $12 million prize money, $45,505 players pool and 13% purse share (3.2% each). Wild Card runner-up two teams will received 3% total prize money share equally distributed among them each team received (1.5%) which $1.4 million comes to each team.

Players pool :
The players’ pool is formed from 50 percent of the gate receipts from the Wild Card Games; 60 percent of the gate receipts from the first three games of the Division Series; 60 percent of the gate receipts from the first four games of the League Championship Series; and 60 percent of the gate receipts from the first four games of the World Series. The ‘Pool’ is basically the money added from all the ticket sales during the MLB playoffs.
