England international player Jamie Vardy is the highest-paid player in Leicester after signing a new contract in the summer of 2018. Vardy signed a new four-year contract worth £140,000-per-week and has an annual salary of £7,280,000. He will remain at the club until retirement age unless any top European clubs come in searching for his signature before then. Vardy accounts for 10% of the club’s total salary expenses. Following him, Kasper Schmeichel is placed at the 2nd highest paid on the team bagging £130,000 per week and £6,760,000 annually.

Leicester payout £69.5m on player wages, placing them ninth in the Premier League for money spent paying their players. the club is on the top ten list because they signed players and offered a couple of contract extensions. Leicester have had a total of nine permanent secretary/managers and 36 permanent managers (not including caretakers). Nigel Pearson and Peter Hodge have both had two separate spells in charge of the club. Dave Bassett also had a second spell as caretaker manager after his spell as permanent manager.
