Manager: Tite.

When many of the sides are struggling to fix a world class goal keeper for their starting lineups, Brazil has got two of the world’s best GKs. Liverpool FC shot stopper Alisson Becker and Man City gloveman Ederson Moraes are the two leading goalies in the English Premier League. Although the duo play in each other’s rival club, when it comes to the national team, they have to fight between themselves for one spot. manager Tite often rotates them during the tournaments and thus we can’t say with certainty who is gonna start at which game.

Brazilian defense is rock solid as always. The center back position is likely to be occupied by former Paris Saint Germain duo Thiago Silva and Marquinhos. The later mentioned CB is the current PSG skipper while Silva has moved to EPL club Chelsea. The replacement option is also good enough as Real Madrid defender Eder Militao is already a proven center half. After Marcelo and Dani Alves’ retirement, the fullback positions were not replaced by top class defenders. But as far as we know, Juventus right back Danilo and CA Mineiro left back Guilherme Arana are the possible starter’s in the team. One also may expect Emerson to start at the left side of the backline.

Tite often loves to play with 2 defensive midfielders. As Casemiro is an auto choice the 2nd DM in the side will most probably be Fabinho. However, the Brazilian boss will have no shortage of options as he can also pick the likes of Gerson Fred or Douglas Luiz. Lucas Paqueta has been in sensational form for the Celecao in recent years and he will certainly start. Raphinha has shown what he is capable of under Marcelo Bielsa and he may turn into an X factor for Tite’s side. Chance will come to him at one stage, if he can grab it, that will be good for him as well as for his team.

The front line may consist of 3 forwards. Neymar Jr will be the spearhead of the attack for sure and also will be the main weapon for Tite. Alongside the PSG attacker, we expect the other 2 spots to be occupied by Everton man Richarlison and Man City forward Gabriel Jesus. However, there are many more options available. Gabriel Barbosa is expected to come from the bench while Everton Ribeiro is also a favorite option for the coach. But the player, who may prove to be the difference between sides, might be Vinicius Jr. The young Real Madrid star has been in very good form recently and his speed is something to fear. Now with his good goal scoring form, he may decide many of the crucial games, we can smell.
