Sri Lanka Cricketers Salaries Details
The Board of Cricket Council of Sri Lanka (BCCSL) controls all the facts about Sri Lanka Cricketers. The Srilankan cricket team has produced exceptional talented Cricket players to the world. After a good performance in the last couple of years, Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has recently raised the Sri Lanka cricket players salaries. SLC and players association has already verbally agreed on a deal in which the new system focuses more on performances related bonuses. Although the deal is yet to be signed by Sri Lanka cricketers. Sri Lanka cricketers salaries also impacted in last 4-5 years on base of their performances. Board looking to give contracts to the fittest players for the squad.
There are five categorizations in the central contract pay scale which provides a maximum annual payout. The central contracts offered in five categories (A, B, C, D, and Premier). Players offered contracts in the premier category only earn match fees there is a base salary for them according to news sources. In 2017, the Sri Lanka cricket board announce a 34% rise in the salaries of cricketers. The ODI match fees increased from $3,000 to $5,500. The T20 players earn ($3,500) from their new contracts with the board. Test cricketers selected for the series received ($7,500) match fees.

Sri Lanka cricketers not only get paid monthly salaries but also earn per match fees.
According to the new deal, 33% of the total board’s income will be distributed in players salaries.
- If Sri Lanka wins the Test Match every Individual player to get a Double Match Fee.
- If an Individual scores a Century or takes a 10 wicket haul in the Test Match, the player will be rewarded with $5,000 by the Sri Lankan Cricket Board as a performance bonus
- Individual taking a 5 wicket haul or scores a Century in ODI gets rewarded with $5,000
- Taking 5 wickets haul also scoring a Half Century in the t20 format will be rewarded as $2,500 for the performed
