South Korea Full Team Squad For FIFA World Cup 2022
Asian soccer powerhouse South Korea have qualified for 9 straight times prior to the 2022 world cup. They haven’t missed a single edition of the grand stage of world football since 1986 Mexico WC. The next edition in Qatar will be their 10th successive appearance. Last time in Russia, they managed to beat thenceforth world champion Germany. Kim Seung Guy is the number one choice for guarding the goal line. He currently plays at Kashiwa Reysol and is the prioritized glove man. Ulsan Hyundai FC shot stopper Jo Hyeon Woo is the other goalie who also can have a go. By the way, Jo was the first choice keeper during the 2018 FIFA WC but we are expecting Kim to be the first pick for the Qatar edition. The 3rd choice keeper in the squad is expected to be Gu Sung Yun.
Our experts suspect the Korean head coach to choose a 4 men back line. In the center, Kim Min Jae and Kim Young Gwon will be the most regulars in the starting XI. The aforementioned one is currently playing for Turkish side Fenarbache with his partner being the part of J1 club Gamba Osaka. Lee Yong is the first choice right back for the country at this moment while Hong Chul will be the starting left back. Kim Jin Soo and Park Ji Soo are the possible prioritized substitute options.

Song Min Kyu will also be a handy option for the boss. However, the defensive part of the midfield should be occupied by Hwang In Beom and Jung Woo Young. Hwang has settled himself in the Russian side Rubin Kazan’s midfield while Jung has decorated his career in the Middle East.
The attack should feature a solitary striker. As the world cup games will be against comparatively stronger sides, we don’t think the Korean boss would be playing with any ultra attacking mode. The first choice striker in the squad will be no other than Hwang Eui Jo. He is a regular starter at French Ligue 1 side Bordeaux and will be a key player for the side.
