NHL Playoffs 2022 TV Schedule

If everything goes fine, the 2022 Stanley Cup Playoffs are expected to start in April or May while the Finals are expected to take place in June. With the new deal which took place in 2021, the NHL broadcasting rights moved from NBCUniversal to ESPN networks and Turner Sports for the next 7 campaigns until 2027-28. Thus Playoffs fixtures will be available through ESPN, ESPN2, ABC, TNT and TBS. The 2 popular networks will each get the rights for half of the first 2 rounds of the playoffs and will have exclusive rights for one conference final series each campaign. The Stanley Cup Finals will be aired on ESPN in even years and on TNT in odd years.

Viewers whose TV package includes the NHL Playoffs broadcasting channels, can stream the coverage live through: Watch ESPN, ESPN3, Watch ABC, Watch TNT, Watch TBS. Cord cutters can also get access to the networks through: AT&TV, Hulu+ Live TV, YouTube TV, Sling TV and fuboTV. Although AT&T TV, Hulu+ Live TV and YouTube TV gives access to all those networks, unfortunately fubo TV doesn’t contain TNT and TBS while Sling TV doesn’t give access to ABC.
